The less we try to dehumanize our perceptions of the "enemy", the more we realize they are just like us in many ways. Iraqi man comforts his son at a holding center for prisoners of war, An Najaf, Iraq, 31 March (2004)
Yes, unfortunately, the American government and the US press have blinded the American people with their endless drivel about how Iraqi people are all terrorists.
Watching the series Lost has a iraq call Sid he (sp?) really puts it in perspective of what they are going thru. They are human with feeling just like Americans.
Each and every day. Jesus Christ I'm amazed at your statement considering you're a FOX Noobs fanatic.
Please link to a statement by the government or the press saying "all iraqis are terrorists" Thanks. Same with you AGS. Please link to a statement by the government or press saying "all iraqis are terrorists"
What is the source for that picture or where can I read more about this? Why does that man have to where the bag over his head, and wouldn't that be frightening to the child? Why is the child in the detention center, is he visiting or forced to live there? Why are they sitting in the dirt? The child looks worn out, he should be carefree and playing not in all this big mess the adults have created.
Yep. Some people do it willingly and hope their children follow them to their graves too. And take out as many civilians as possible in the process. Does that make you proud? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xfW5mJJ-dA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsHn6LoO-ro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ttLgzrT8k0
That's a UNESCO photo.. for those interested in the source. That pic speaks more than a thousand words IMO, for those willing to "see"...
POW also human right? Human has emotion, it's nature. In any way, how come there is a black plastic on his head?
They segregate prisoners initially and put bags over their heads to disorient them until they're processed.
I agree Lorien, I'm sure they cannot come up with a single instance much less daily ones. I've never even met anyone who believe such a ridiculous statement as "All Iraqis are terrorists"
There was no story.. it was a picture in a UNESCO photo gallery.. I initially found the pic thru a link on Reddit (I believe). The only text was that which I gave in my original post. The source link is: http://portal.unesco.org/ci/fr/files/14980/10820357923Bouju_500.jpg/Bouju_500.jpg
