I am honestly confused. I know it's nerdy, but I like to watch Star Trek: TNG and Voyager. I looked at a wiki for Voyager, as I skipped some vital plot lines by missing a few shows my DVR didn't catch, and I found out there was an entire series called "Enterprise" after Voyager/Deep space nine. I'm perplexed. How did this get by me? Is it a good series? I may buy the full box set if someone has some good reviews for it. Apparently it got taken off the air Does anyone else find it confusing that enterprise was the name of the TNG ship, and now the title of this show?
Good! What's with all the trouble with it staying out of trouble with critics? They had a very iffy last few seasons, but I heard it ended with a bang. Is it worth the big price tag I'll be shelling out for it?
It shows on pay TV so if you have that you won't have to shell out. If you want a blow by blow episode count - just type in new enterprize series into google/yahoo and you will find some very detailed sites with character bios, episode stories and more. I enjoyed it more than Star Trek the next generation.
Excellent. I'll give it a look over. I wish they would've kept Voyager on longer! Oh well. Hopefully Enterprise is as good.
It's quite different in some ways to the other series. The theme song (yes, it has a song, not just music) is cool. Might take you a bit of getting into, so give it a go of a few episodes or so before deciding if you like it. Some Star Trek fans liked it, some didn't.
I like the special effects and the sexy Vulcan Sub-Commander T'Pol (Jolene Blalock): Click on thumbnails to enlarge
don't feel bad, wife & I are also big TNG & Voyager fans but totally missed out on Enterprise...heck we even missed Voyager's finale!!
TNG was the only one i ever really got into. I liked some episodes of Voyage but i missed the whole beginning of the first season so i was pretty lost.
I liked Enterprise too, but for some reason the TV channel in my remote part of the world cheated me on the last season....
OMG...you guys been living in a hole or something??? even people who hate ST probably know about enterprise
That's too bad! It was a nice one. I didn't even see it coming, especially since it was a bunch of recordings and I didn't know that this particular show was the end. It was rather abrupt and came out of nowhere. I'd recommend you tune into Spike TV and watch it, they are just now going through all the episodes again
They also show 4 back-to-back episodes of "Enterprise" on the SciFi channel every Monday night. The "Enterprise" series takes place about 100 years before the Cpt. Kirk days. I understand that Hollywood FX were primitive back in the 60's when the original series was filmed, but it's still hard to keep that in mind when watching "Enterprise" because the sets and special FX are so much more advanced. It took some getting used to, but I enjoy watching it. "Voyager" was definitely my favorite, though. (7 of 9 could assimilate me any day)
its nothing like to old star trek they are more advanced looking than the orginal series its also the reason there is no more star trek also due to the actor they got to play the captain (the guy from that show about the time traveler(sam becket dont know his real name (crap actor!!!!))
