I'd like to know this :

can one "directory" know if one do one submission with an automatic software ? or with a semi-automatic software ? ( then if one do one submission in manual way ? ).

Nope, afraid not. Data submitted is data submitted. There are way to prevent (or at least reduce) automated submissions from going through but pretty much once the data is there then there's no difference.

 

Unless the data submitted is wrong, there is no way to detect them.

 

Directory itself can't, but human being can, many automatic submissions would be full of their keywords and services.

I think that doing semi-automatic submission. there is the risck that they (direcotries ) considere automatic-submission and then they refuse my submission.

You'll submit manually and can edit it for all submission types.

You should put a meaningful subject for your post. As this is the 'Directories' forum putting 'directories' as your subject isn't helpful, 'submission software question' might have prompted more replies.

 

Manual submission is the way to go. You can actually see what you are getting.

I have limited the description in 300 words, but I have received some submission with 400 words, I do not think it is submitted by a human being. And there are some other way you could know it is a automatic submission.

 

For Antonio and not : can you say me other way that you know to understand if it is a automatic submission ?

What are you trying to achieve, protecting a directory against auto-submit software or trying to use auto submit software without being detected?

 

My problem is this.
I do submission with reciprocal links using one software semi-automatic ( ex. RoboForm ).

on 10 reciprocal link in average I have one submission with success....
it is very hard to update 10 reciprocal links and to know that you obtain one link.

or better one autofill not automatic but manual where it is possible memorize words.
