I have 2 websites that managed to get a very good PR of 6 however their traffic is very low as I do not have much time to work on them

Anyone knows how I can quickly transform this PR into traffic?

You can't. PR doesn't effect traffic.

PR and traffic are not related, build a site that encourages people to visit it and come back to it, then optimize this site for your main keywords and you will slowly start getting some traffic.

i also asked the same and simple question and got the same answer so lets go back to the marketing part with SEO, It can make the things better. PR 6 is good ( i am half of it) anywayz better thing to publish new articles twice a day (once is atleast recommended). Talk about the topics on co-related forums. That should bring traffic!!!

PR has no connection with the traffic. If you want to increase traffic you have to gain more backlinks and much better if you could rank well for your targeted keywords.

Try doing a few Press Release...

Also how are your keyword set up. Do they receive a lot of searches per month.

PR and Traffic are not the same. If you have a great site, with good keywords, do a few Press Release using those keywords...they high PR will help get you better rankings...I guess

Are people interested in your topic?

You can do a link exchange and get traffic.

Since you have good PR, people like me would give you site wide link (pr4) for your home page link.

That way you get the traffic.

    thanks

Related high PR backlinks with the right anchor text will boost your rankings a lot.
That's how you can convert PR into traffic ;)

Craete a blog in your web site and update it daily. Network with other bloggers, and try to use social media like Digg and StumbleUpon to increase traffic.

traffic is not based on how high your PR was, traffic is based on the design, SERP, and content of the site. :D

Trade links with low PR sites with heavy traffic.

I know PR has nothing to do directly with traffic and this is why I was asking. The website has video content and when I had enough time to spent for this i was able to get up to 10,000 visitors per day but as soon as I leave it it goes back to less than 1,000

I am not sure if links exchange will get traffic directly but I assume I can get better search engine positioning

What exactly should I consider when I'll search for sites to exchange links with?

I thought PR was a factor, even if small, in SERPs. I'm not saying if you have a high page rank, you will rank well. But it is one of the factors which google uses to rank websites, is it not?

Sell some links on your PR6 site - perhaps 8 at $20 a month each, perhaps more.

Use that money to buy high profile ads on highly relevant sites - probably sites with low PR but high traffic.

Or as suggested above do link exchange with that kind of site directly. A lot of people are looking for PR6 links so you need to exchange that value for traffic. The PR in itself won't bring you traffic.

Meanwhile make sure that whatever links are giving you your PR6 are using appropriate anchor text, and are on relevant pages.

Filebux, yes it is a factor but relevance of the page linking to you, the anchor text used etc are much more important. If I get a PR8 link on a SEO site pointing at my travel site it will increase my PR but have no noticeable impact on traffic.

This is a good example on that it is not a big use to chase for high PR. Chase for the visitors.

I know that already but chasing for visitors takes time and if I can easily chase for PR (in that particular case) why not get it? :)

    Don't chase for PR.

Chase for more quality backlinks with related page theme.

you get PR and Traffic at the same time.

Remember one thing... it may take considerable amount of time.
