Hey, I just wanted to put in the good word for AdBrite. They are wonderful and have great ad rates! They have paid me on time and the check only took 9 days to get here and I'm in New zealand and they are in San Francisco! You can view my blog post about them here. Thanks Nathan
I am testing the waters with Adbrite now.. I cant seem to get any of there ads to appear on my site though.. lol. I've only approved 6 so-far and I called and they said that those 6 have either expended their budgets for the day or have paused the ad. That kinda of sucks.. They suggested I turn on the auto-approve, but I hear that is not a good thing to do (viral or something) Plus I wanna keep my ads nice and clean and related/somewhat. Hopefully they will send me some more ads to approve
Hmm a friend was using the exact same one, I might check out a few more since this doesnt look so good from what u guys are saying
I like the way that if there is no ads showing you can submit your google ad code and that will apear until there is ads to show nice to keep the site looking full not empty
I didn't know you could substitute empty ads with your google adsense ads? So I guess google has no problem sharing the page with AdBrite? I'll have to check up on this.
i don't even think your allowed to do it, it's in the tos that you can not place google ads in a frame and thats exactly what the adbrite does (places it in a iframe) i would get permission before even attempting it.
my last check was 26 cents more. it is? adbrite uses javascript, just like google does. i have asked and they have no problem with it. the thing is,it is only for the banners.if you plan to sell any ad spots you should use the flexible since banners you can only sell cpm ads.
What's good about advertising with Adbrite: - You can get cheap rates per click What's bad about advertising with Adbrite: - The visitors could be found any country and may not even speak english, you can't geotarget ads as far as I know - All the clicks that is tracked through Adbrite, you actually receive less on your stats. - Most of the traffic only lands on the first page and leave straight away, no matter how good the site is. - All of the averages that you may get before actually advertising is rather false information. - Etc....
Seriously their traffic sucks ,their traffic has never converted for me. I have goten 1000 visits, and no convert.
i am both advertiser and publisher there and i find them not honest in both regards. indeed i gave up as a publisher, they do not count all the cliks i sent and haven't replied to me why. as advertiser... deleted traffic mostly, but at least it is far chpear than adwords that is getting so expensive lately....
