A screaming, weeping Paris Hilton was back in the slammer. I find it interesting that she was released at all. It goes to show that money can get you out of jail.

It's frightening to see people with a lot of money are over the laws...

The L.A. County Sheriff released her to house arrest against the judge's orders for undisclosed medical reasons. The judge was infuriated and threatened to charge the sheriff with contempt of court.

He should. The sheriff should be sacked from his post. He was probably bribed by the parents. Anyway, the tears are fake.

The tears of a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum. People feeling sorry for her should consider that she was arrested for drunk driving on a suspended license with her headlights off and driving something around 70mph in a 35mph zone. She's lucky to have gotten off with just 23 days in jail.

Paris Hilton as you know was recently released from jail, however Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer ordered the 26-year-old socialite to serve her full 45-day sentence. Reverend Al Sharpton previously stated that her release may have been because she was white and wealthy.

Do you really think Paris Hilton was released because of her race? That is a pretty absurd observation on Reverend Al Sharpton’s part. Look at OJ Simpson. He had money, and was African American, and was set free.

Paris was reportedly in tears sobbing on the way back to prison. She must serve 45 days, her original sentence minus time already served.

People are protesting this on their website too including Dog the Bounty Hunter saying that it's too harsh a sentence for a traffic offense.

What they fail to realize is she violated her probation and quite vagrantly and frequently violates the law period because she thinks her status makes her untouchable.

Maybe this will bring the upper class back down to Earth and make them realize EVERYONE is accountable for what they do.

So she's back in again. I am happy to see even rich people are not above the law in the US unlike in my country.

She would be better of if she did not cry. Look at Martha Stewart she went to jail and took it like a woman. This just makes it seem like she really is spoiled.

She got away with a lot. I think this is a small price she's paying. She should just suck it up.

A lot of people who didn't have good attorneys would have gotten 6 months to a year in prison for what she did. She should have considered herself lucky.

Like someone above said, she should have taken some clues from Martha Stewart who was in prison for a lot longer than her original sentence. Paris is just a spoiled brat who was finally told she has to follow the laws just like the rest of us.

I don't care about how it affects her career. What I hope is that she learns from it the way Martha Stewart learned from hear experience. The end goal is behavior modification in that Paris doesn't flaunt the law drive while intoxicated and doesn't drive in a reckless manner. If she wants to drink, fine. If she wants to do drugs I don't care. If she wants to party hard, that is her business. She can, however, afford to hire a driver to drive for her when she is impaired because of her actions. What she does to her self is her business, but she can't endanger the lives of others with her actions.

Well said. It's better that she spend time in jail then for her to kill someone.

Yes, she deserves to finish her time in jail. She will then maybe hire someone to drive her around when she drinking. Kudo's to the Judge!;)

oh the horror. She has to spend a month in jail. She should think of it as character development for her movie and book that she can write and make bank when she gets ou.
