I can't get my site targeted ads to show on the sites i assigned them to. I even upped the bid just to test it out. Is there a wait time? Does google approve you first or something? Is this still in beta? Can anyone provide some insight before i smash my computer screens

You probably need to up your bid. On one popular site, I had to up my bid to $3 to show. Needless to say I only ran it for a few days before dropping it. Just too expensive.

i put it up to 40 bucks CPM just to get it to run i can't figure it out?!?!?!?!?!?!? Its really frustrating i am probably going to smash my keyboard in two shortly. I have never had a problem with my adwords account i have always understood everything but for the life of me i can't figure out why my ads won't show on the sites that i specify?!?!?!?!?

Hmph. I started a keyword campaign yesterday about noon, it only started getting impressions today.

Not the same thing, I know. How long has your campaign been running?

It does - I actually wrote about it awhile back. Check it out if you're interested.

is there a way to target a specific site using a CPC ad instead of a CPM impressions ad?

In my experience it does take longer for image ads to be 'okayed' by google. If it's taking a while I've found just a polite e-mail asking them if there's a problem seems to get the ad looked and approved, as if by magic!
