If anyone is looking to sell private ad spaces on there site, and be able top set there cost per impression ,

I have the perfect script for you

Let me know if this interests you :)

The script allows you to sell ads privately on your own site

Kinda like adbrite and such BUT you keep all the money!

Open ads just lets you manage ads right?

This is more of selling individual ads, to people

    Here take a look

Let me know if you have more questions

It doesn't really look that flexible. Trust me, I'd love to have a way to accept payment and the ad campaign is updated immediately. But with this, there's no real targeting except for zones.

Now, if you can get me this feature to OpenAds, I'd gladly pay $100!

What do you mean bu Non flexible?

You can create 10000000 zones if you wanted, each zone could be a different url as well,

You also can set the prices for each zone different,

So the fact that you can have 100000 zones all at a different price level seems flexible to me,

Like I said each zone could be anywhere you wanted

Yea - no way we are going to combine this with open ads....

he meant payment integration, like a client can set himself after he pays, without any other help, automatic process.

    Maybe I described it wrong

All the client has to do is go to the cart , select where they want to buy the ads, upload there banner, add there url and pay

    Simple as that...

Then they have real time stats . by ip, ctr, impressions etc

How much more automatic could there be?

Take a look at my site -> http://www.brainbucketmag.com. Now, take a look at the babe page(s) -> http://www.brainbucketmag.com/coppermine/cat=2.html

You'll see Google Ads on the non-babe page(s) and CPX on the babe ones. This is the same zone. I use URL targeting to keep from showing Google ads on pages where they're not appropriate. This is much easier than templating the pages and using multiple zones.

I can also limit the number of times ad as is served to one visitor and how frequently they are served.

I can have campaigns run a CPC, CPM, or default basis where they can expire based on a time frame or not at all.

I can give some ads more weight than others.

I can edit source code to fit my needs (that's a biggie since I serve up over 3 milion asd per month).

That's just a few features I don't see with yours that I get with OpenAds.

Wanna make your script really desirable? Incorporate some of what OpenAds does. I'm not trying to burst your bubble. I'd just like to see what you're doing incorporated to OpenAds.

Hey Your not bursting my bubble at all :)

I actually developed this script for my sites, I have no issues setting zones, Just thats just how I am.

Yea - I could add those features and then the script would be much higher in cost :)

    Anyhow - Yea no biggie,

We use it on several sites of own, we also include it in our Lazy Schmuck webmaster kits as well.

Thanks for the kind words though :)

Its just a simple way to sell ads , and thats all it was meant to be
