Ok ok whoa! Hold your horses...

Don't get me wrong, I still think adsense is awesome but heck, I decided to test things because thats what we internet marketers do...

I replaced my adsesnse blocks with clickbank ebooks on ALL my content sites and guess what!!

I have so far made over 8.7 (I'm just doing quick math on a calculator so it's not too accurate) times more than I did with adsense!!!

Man, screw the cents I am going for the $$$ from now on...

    Josiah:D

P.S. Again please don't take offense, if you just had what happened to me I bet you would have been kicking yourself too!

P.P.S. Is anyone else having similar results?

    8.7..... k ?

That sounds really good but what was your site's niche? (assuming the results won't be duplicated in any type of niche site :))

Got some questions for you, mate :)

    1. What kind of cilckbank ads program did you use ? (ref link very acceptable) (I mean some kind of clickbank ad-rotating program, there're some as I know)
    2. What's the topic of your testing website ?
    3. What average CPC you were getting with that site with Adsense ?
    4. What CPC have you got with clickbank ads ?

    Thanks in advance :)

Yep, don't put all your eggs in one basket and such. Those results speak for themselves.

ecart you are right on the money!

And I am keeping quiet here LOL, I wont say my niches but here's a clue...

There are quite a few cb products for my niches and thats part of the reason I decided to do it...

Cafe, CPC for cb ads? I didn't use cb ads I basically just made banner type sidebars etc where I showed a picture of the product with a small description then finally my aff. link for people to click thru...

It's actually not hard and I prefer not to use some rotating script... I am good at direct response so I just create direct response banners...

Direct reponse is basically just good copywriting for anyone who doesn't know what that is...

Diversifivcation is good but you should also focus on making the best of adsense as well.

congradulations, but your success is not the slightest bit indicative of what will happen to other webmasters who use clickbank instead of adsense.

that's because some sites are simply designed to work better with affiliates and such than with adense... it's all in the nature of your traffic.

are they looking for product information and reviews, or are they looking to be entertained? ect.

I would say many things are related with niche of your site. You have to find out what is the best solution to monetize a site by yourself.

it depends on the niche you are in. For some niches (with less buyers), adsense is profitable. For niches with more buyers, clickbank or affilate links will be profitable. :)

I think that'll depend largely on the niche of your site, and content, and many thing else.

That just goes to show how critical testing is. Without getting any more traffic you increased your income by 8 times - how cool is that???

I tested the same thing a while back but didn't have the same results. No clickbank sales so I was out some dough because I lost out on the adsense income too.

Typically I have affiliate products and adsense on my sites, but I wanted to see if I could make more by replacing the adsense with a clickbank product (I didn't use an ad style that mimiced adsense though, just one big block with the ebook image and some text....)
