OK, I'm new to this so can anyone help me please? I think I'm being really dumb here but I'm having probs with my contacts on MyBlogLog, I try adding someone (go to their page, click add to contacts etc) then I get some options to tick, it automatically highlights my name and the other persons name and says im related to them (I dont know how to change this for people im not related to!) the friend one is already highlighted/faded with a tick so I assumed this was a default. then you have options to add as family, fan or friend and something else. I've been clicking my contacts as I'm a fan of and friend of but then when I go back to my homepage it keeps changing who I have as friends and who my 'admirers' are...I'm probably not making any sense at all but Its really bugging me that one minute its telling me I have one person as a friend and the next its showing that I have no friends and two admirers.... If anyone makes any sense of this and has some idea of what I'm doing wrong (probably something simple) please let me know!! lol.
Sorry I cannot help, but I can commiserate. I have never been able to figure out what the heck MyBlogLog is all about. It has to be one of the worst design sites I have ever come across. However, if you are ever able to figure out that mess and what it is good for, let me know. To me it feels like being packed in a crowded ballpark as everyone is trying to enter (or exit) the stadium. Rich
The thing is, I actually do quite like it and I think it would make a fairly decent promotional tool for blogs/websites but I just wish that my friend list would sort itself out, other people I know are having the same problem with it - friends/contacts /messages dissapearing and reappearing etc but I'm unsure as to wether its something I'm doing wrong myself or a glitch in the system.... *sighs*
Does anyone have any idea's on this? Its driving me nuts, my family friends and contacts keep dissapearing!
When you hit "Add as a contact", on the next screen, the first box is checked by default. All you have to do is check the box that you want, and confirm.
I've done that, and it seems to work but then my contacts turn back into admirers again or just dissapear completely,lol.
