Proxy Sites?

Hi,
I was wondering that how people nowadays earn from proxy sites? There are millions of proxy sites and everyday hundreds of new proxies are born. Is it easy to earn from them? If yes then how to market it? Sending myspace bulletins?
I've heard that proxy top sites dont give you much traffic. Is it true?

are some of the keys for a proxy to do well.

 

I believe proxies get smartpriced very quaickly. Do not spend too much time on proxies because they are very difficult to monetise other than adsense and YPN.

Out of all of the proxies I have, the one that is making the least is making a consistent $5/day.

Proxies are dead, Adsense is dead, Myspace marketing is dead, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. The whole "xxxxxx is dead" marketing ploy is genius in itself.

 

I've been considering setting up afew myself, but have never been sure whether it's worth it, and as I can't code them myself it'll cost me some $$ to have that done..

Is it possible to earn $XXX.XX consistently each month with a couple of proxys?

 

I love proxies. They are expensive to keep since they use so much server resources, but they are so viral. They take off days after they are created and initial marketing starts. As long as you keep making fresh ones the money keeps rolling in!

 

Just jump in man. Proxies make good money but u need to stay on top of them by making new ones like craiger said. Otherwise the kids just go to the next one.

I get new ones adding to my milliondollar site and ive started a new network of proxies which are pullin in the cash already

So dont seem to dead to me either hehe

 

Proxies may seem dormant in the summer (school's out!), but once school starts, I've heard many stories of proxy networks EXPLODING!

I'm personally not a big fan of using them to generate ad revenue but that could because I never made very large ones. On the topic of server resources well I managed to make them not so resource intensive. I blocked the ability to give others the links (people were posting images in the proxy I found). But the best I could do was just $5/day which to me is not worth it considering you need to be moving the proxy IP around a lot because of blocks and such.
