Market a new site get thousands of new uniques fast here’s how Now you are all going this guy is like everyone else out there claiming that they can get thousands of uniques to your site in a day , well I’m not claiming a day but can be done fast. Ok step one social networking site. 1 . Digg:If you are going to use digg to market a website you will need to write an article about Kevin Rose becuase Digg loves it’s faithful owner, Hating Microsoft or Microsfts stuff up’s because if you look at top articles digg users hate microsoft. Make up a quirky photo and stick it on your site then make up a funny short description and digg it you will find alot of the top stories in there are like this. 2. StumbleUpon the easiest way to get quick traffic from stumble upon is to join stumble groups at webmaster forums such as digitalpoint , another site that you can try that exchanges stumbles is www.stumble-exchange.com . 3. Delicious again use the same thing you did for stumble join the delicious exchange groups on webmaster forums. 4. Reddit if you write quality articles and submit then to reddit you will find most users will add a point to your listing. Step 2 Directories Important part of any site getting traffic is getting some decent back links by submitting to as many directories as possible a list you can submit to can be found here: http://www.keepingyourich.com/5/huge-list-of-free-web-directorys.htm . If you can be bothered do all the submissions yourself pay someone like www.submitedge.com who do really cheap human submissions to directories. Step 3. Post about New Topic’s / Products / Services If you look around for brand new products or services or affilate programs or something like this and blog/ write about it , then submit it to digg or somewhere like this you will find the search engines will pick up your site and link it to that keyword in the search engines, just make sure your site is SEO optimised like for instance if you look at my sites titles they are /keeping-you-rich . 4. Adwords / Adbrite Campaigns You don’t have to spend big dollars in these campaigns to get decent results, you want to aim to use long tail keywords for advertising. What are long tail keywords you may ask well say for instance you keyword is cars a long tail keyword is car sales insurance australia they might not get as many searches but they will be cheap keywords and they will bring in gradual traffic. Ok that should get you well on your way.
Hating microsoft must be a good way to get traffic (heh) You could also try hating Apple or telling "why Mac is better than PC" or why "Windows is better than Linux" to get people angry Good reminders, I actually haven't given much though about adbrite as keywords. Does buying adbrite links help in search engines as well? (like... they aren't "nofollow" stuff or anything like that).
Yep, I've heard that one before - and I'd like to know if it affects search engine rankings? (yes? no?)
Why would it affect your search engine rating isn't like text link ads where is a link on a site , they are same as googles adsense. I have used it many times before on many of sites had no problem with it affect search engine ranking.
Hehee, I didn't know how it works - that's why I'm asking Although I didn't quite get a clear answer... first you say it doesn't, then you say you have used it to affect? Does it affect on search engine rankings? (simple "yes" or "no" , please )
Stumble-upon can get loads of hits but they tend not to stay on your site as long as hits from other sources. That is just my observation from my site.
