It as simple as hating things that doesn't work out to be like what you had expected... and at same time cause some trouble to things that you had already fell in love with.. That's why..
exactly... not all softwares would run on vista... especially if you have the crack version... and for current pc users that dont care much on upgrading their system... i guess they really have to, to keep up with the system reqiurements... and another thing... the updating thingy bothers most of our pc users.. especially when its not a legit vista... hek hek hek lol
Have a friend who just bought a new PC running Vista. Some of the programs he has running on XP will not work with Vista. He ad to buy new virus software and Nero 6 won't work either. He has to upgrade to 7..
Vista uses waaay too much CPU on the graphics, like seriously, who gives a crap about the graphics if you cant even get your security shyt right.
I hate vista because all the old software that I used to have wi/ my other PC crashes, norton makes my pc slower, i iwsh i can install windowx xp in this machine but is not posible. I dont want to spend another 100 bucks to downgrade.
Vista doesn't use your CPU for its graphics. It uses your GPU, which doesn't affect your actual performance.
Microsoft stole the operating system from apple years ago. Since then, have only waited for apple to come out with their new OS, then they just copy the new stuff and release it way too soon full of security holes. If you ask me, Vista is the worse one yet for copying apple software. Not only are they copycatters, they don't even do a good job at it. Microsoft Blows Big Monkey Chunks! I'll stick with my apple hardware and software even though it's more expensive, the need to upgrade timeframe is alot longer then a PC. Hardware upgrade every 2 years for PC, but you can get a good 3 - 5 years out of an apple computer before needing to upgrade.

Let me correct you on this. I am currently using window vista on my laptop and installed Nero 6 successfully. Don't getting any trouble using that.
in my opinion, why go something new when you are satisfied with windows xp, why spend 150+ $ when we are satisfied with Xp...?? appearance is not everything.

This thread is about the 2 microsoft operating systems and which one is better, but they are both nothing more than copies of Apples Operating Systems which are completely stable, and always work well. Lets not forget about the NO spyware ever on an apple computer. Couple that with only 3 or 4 known viruses. Hands down, Microsoft's Operating Systems are WAY below average compared to ANY other operating system. ie... linux, os x, etc....
