$12 easy banner contest!

Hey guys I need a banner making for the top section of my website. www.talkingphilosophy.org. It can be any size as long as it fits nicely within the blue bar section. Use your imagination and you will be rewarded if you win. You can use this image http://www.talkingphilosophy.org/me1.jpg if you like, it is what is being used now but you could integrate it with your design.

- You can enter as many times as you want.
- Please post your design in the thread.
- The work you produce must be your own work and not copyrighted by external services. You also grant me full permission and ownership of your submission upon winning.
- I will start this today 06/06/2007and end it on 08/06/2007.
- Please watermark all your submitted works so it won’t get stolen, make sure you save an un-watermarked copy in case you win.
- Save work as either .gif or .jpeg
- The winner will receive $12 via paypal.

So you want us to redesign the area that shows you with the ranbow thing around you with a new design? What is £12 is USD?

 

Yes thats exactly it, just a nice simple banner will suffice. $12 sorry I made a typo.

 

But do you want to like redo the text on the header?

 

Yes if that’s what you want to enter into the contest. You can either do the text or not. It’s up to you. I just fancy a slight change to make the sight initially more interesting looking.

I know I’m not offering big bucks so something nice but not something which would take you hours and hours to finish. Something relating to the site. I could do it myself but I would rather let you guys have a ago, Contests are more exciting than doing it yourself.

Hey Hecky very nice, I like the quote from Descartes, very thouhgtful. However the photo would be better on the left with the same effect and I dont see how the green would fit next to the blue . I suppose I could change the page slightly.

Fran I just noticed you have used #275cc5 code as the blue colour rather than #3366cc. A little tweaking and you will most likely win up to know

Hey I think you have done enouth for a lousy $12 prize if you win, however again you have used #13247c blue and not #3366cc . It will need to fit in with the page. But no worries.

 

Another Tell me if you would like to see it without the effect on the image of the person

I like this style better than the others you have done , the banner would be better saved as a jpeg and not .gif for quality. The colour again .
