Yep, one point to Mitcharr, congrats. Hard one now : Without a bridle or a saddle, Across a bridge I ride a straddle, And those I ride, by help of me, Though almost blind are made to see, What am I ?
ok i'm in...although it's not for the prize...I'm no good at riddles but I like to challenge my mind. how about TIME for the second one?
Yep, it's glasses. Another point Can be made by a crowd, As a sign of acclaim, Whe it's made by a beast, It's called the same name. What is it?
There is a certain book which was first published several decades ago. Back then this particular book was only read by some very rich people. With time the book became more popular and today almost everyone has read atleast some portion of it. Although most book shops have this particular book on hand they wont sell it to you; and although you can find the book in a library they wont lend it to you. What is the book?
It's probably not the Bible, because you can buy those but for the sake of being thorough... The Bible?
Nope, neither. Think, analyze the question. Pick out key phrases that can help : What was read by a rich person? Well, a book can't be expensive in itself, so maybe it's related to expensive things/matters? This thing would have to be expensive, but nowadays it's cheaper, so maybe it's an invention that was hard to maintain back then. Well, it can't be a novel, because you would read all of that, and it's something almost everyone has read a bit of. So..maybe it's a manual for the expensive object? Yeah, it's definately something "Backstage" of shops and librarys, so It's probably not a manual because you can probably buy them from shops and libraries. What could it be? This is the sort of pattern you should go through
