You can't pick up a receiver, you can pick up a phone.

Well, I may be over thinking this but did you connect the receivers to the phones or did you cross the phone cords leaving the receivers attached to their original phones?

If you left them attached to their original phones or if they are cordless you will need to pick up the blue receiver to hear and speak. But you will also need to pick up the red phone to connect the call.

If you actually connected the receiver to the other phone you would pick up the red receiver only.

You'll have to pick up and talk on receiver on green phone (which is actually blue in color) and on the other hand, you will also have to pick receiver of red phone (placed on blue phone) and place it on a side, so the call is actually received.

    Correct? ;)

The red one? That would answer the call (because it will be lifted from the phone unit... if the same phone as the picture up above). You would then use the blue one to talk into (given that its actually attached to the blue phone)

I'll pick up the receiver placed on the blue phone, i.e. the red receiver to start the call but the receiver on the green phone i.e. the blue receiver to talk and listen.

Edit: Oh i didn't see the answer was already posted.

Naturally you are going to pick up the blue receiver that you put in green phone.

you only exchange the receiver but not the transmitter.

    Am I wrong? ^_^

My main problem is I thought the receiver was the actual thing on top that you speak into
