I have few of them and all of them got indexed in a week time. Now they are almost one month old and I dont see search engine traffic at all. How can I increase search engine ranking to automated blogs? Can you guys throw some light?

PR does not give more traffic. Higher SERP ranks may not give the traffic you want. The best way is to put a content that can grab more traffic and of course, do not forget the site's design. Links can also help, it increases your site's popularity.
Are your auto blogs, original content, or fed from a source that anyone may have the same feeds? Duplicate content gets no love.
Well, as I said the blogs are automated blogs which are fed from other RSS feeds. So it doesn't have unique content. SEOranter, yes you are correct. Automated blogs cant get decent traffic, but what I expect is just 5-10 unique visitors per blog per day.....

Well, from my experience, at least the blog must be updated regularly to get 5-10 unique visitors from search engines. I know the above works for normal blog, but i dun know how search engines treat automated blogs.
How so with regard to SEO? It provides an easier way to have visitors subscribe to your blog rss feed.
