LogIn Suggestion

Hello,

I am part of various large communities. Being here for a couple of months, I've noticed something that is very annoying. After I browse through threads & I need to post, I've to log-in. The problem is, after I login from a thread, I am not kept at the same page but I am redirected to the homepage.

I think this should be corrected. After logging in, we should be kept at the same page which we were viewing.

so why dont you first login to ur account check Remember Me button and then browse the threads ???

 

I just checked and it is redirecting to the previous page and not the homepage. Infact when I click the "Post Reply" and login, I am being shown the new reply page. I think your browser is not sending the referrer details.

 

Well its better to login from homepage with Remember Me option. It will keep you login untill you logout.

 

I use firefox, anyway to fix it ?

 

Have you tried clearing cookies/cache? I use FF as well and never get this problem.

 

I had used FF to check it because I am always logged in to DP in Opera. If it is your personal computer, then I too recommend you to use the remember me feature.

 

I am also using firefox. Also, tried with IE, works fine on both.

Logging in from a thread redirects to the thread.
