If its any consolation guys, I have been scammed as well. I bought w-hosts.net from him for $295, and issued refunds to clients who deserved a refund.

He game all logons, EXCEPT the login to host company with dedicated server. He assured me that he will email it to me within 24 hours, once his ISP is up.

As you all are aware, none of us have access to server for most of the day.

I understand how you feel. Unfortunately, like yourself, things are out of my control as well.

However, I would like a list of everyone who had an account. I will set you up with an account on another server for the remainder of the year - no
charge. If by the end of the year you fell you got satisfactory service, you may continue to host with me.

Please do not reply to thread, and instead PM me the following information that I will later verify and set-up your account:

- First & Last Name
- you email address
- your domain name
- whether you had a shared host or reseller account

Please no proxy sites....the other server won't be able to handle it. If you were only hosting a proxy site on w-hosts.net server, than you may still keep a reseller account - however, no proxy/warez/illegal sites.

Looks like we all got tricked by him. He offered a cheap plan then he sold it to 1imran with all of this trouble.

What about the people who have been scammed ? Isn't a refund possible from the person whom he sold the host ?

1imran, what deals will you have from next year ? I prefer a longer relationship that just until new year.

 

Just post a negative feedback on his/her iTrader if you're unhappy. I was scammed too and I did just that.

 

i know because of the price it is low but i am not sure if that space can be used well it would have to be small really small sites or maybe free sites with ads.

 

2:05 pm from yesterday until 6:30 am today. i Cant enter to w-hosts.net and mysite. Very long time Server Down.

 

UPDATE: I have been able to contact server company who is willing to transfer server to me. I appreciate your patience...will update little later, and hopefully, get the server up and running as soon as possible.

I apologize for the extended downtime - however, things have been out of my control. Thanks....

The mods dont take a stand regarding to if you are scammed or not so they normally dont ban anybody because of that.

I have been able to get hold of host. All accounts are moving to new server and should be up by late tonight (U.S. Eastern Time).

On this server, I will not be hosting proxy sites. Will modify TOS to clearly state that....

I will not be able to refund everyone who is asking for a refund. Your payment was made to maleek, and I hope you can understand why it won't make sense for me to refund money that I never received. However, I have refunded few terminated accounts....and will continue to monitor server performance and make further adjustments/refunds - on a case by case basis.

The proxies really are a drain on server performance, and even though the TOS does not spell out proxy sites, it does state that sites that excessively utilize system resources can be terminated without refund.

In the near future, I will introducing a low cost VPS based hosting solution for new proxy sites that don't have enough traffic/income to justify a large VPS or dedicated server....some place to park without violating TOS and getting kicked off servers.

I will contact everyone with new nameserver information when server is up.

I was send email to netfirms support maybe it a good news for someone that

look for cheap proxy host with PHP based proxy script not CGI.

 

The server files have been recovered and are being transferred to new server.

The server tech is migrating them today and will be terminating some proxy accounts. Yes, you are right, netfirms.com/max is a great deal for someone looking for lots of space and bandwidth - I don't know how they will treat active proxies, though.

Most of you will have access to your accounts sometime later today, as soon as the last few issues have been resolved by server teach. I will email everyone the new ns1 & ns2.
