Huge Site For Sale - 34,000$ A Year

I'm looking to pay a few bills off so I'm selling one of my larger sites. I started this site from scratch 2 years ago. All the layouts are 100% unique same with the contact boxes and banners. A few of the tools on the site were purchased but most of them were coded by myself. All the myspace images, layouts, games and all that are hosted at Photobucket.com. The site is ran on a dedicated server with about 7 other sites on it. The site has an automated link sale script. All you have to do is enter your paypal address into the script and start making money. I'm not sure what else to say about the site, I think the asking price will be more then most people can pay. I am really clueless when it comes to myspace - would you let me know please if there is regular maintenance to the site. Not really the technical stuff, that I can do.

But what about designing new layouts and coding. Would the site need alot of content to be added regularly to keep the existing revenue.

No I only update layouts and such every couple weeks or so. You can just let it sit and you will make the revenue I posted above. I could also code new layouts for the new owner when ever they wish or show the new owner how to do it. It's really not that hard.

Photobucket is an image hosting site. All the layouts and myspace graphics are hosted on photobucket. I used to host all my images on my site but you would need a couple servers to do that.

 

What is to keep other MySpace resource sites from deeplinking the content on PhotoBucket in exactly the same manner as you are doing?

 

A lot of the images have CompleteMyspace.com somewhere on the image. So the more sites that use the image the better it is for the site. Nothing is stopping them though. There is no real way to stop someone from using any images on any site.

 

I was banned on sitepoint for telling a mod what I feel about them.

I think you should keep the site and find new ways of making a few extra dollars to pay your bills. Just my personal opinion...If you sell it to pay off immediate bills, then you have no more extra income for the good things in life.

 

Well I'm being forced to move down south where the cost of living is cheaper. Taxes and debt are making it hard to live up here in ohio. The problem is my girlfriend still lives up here. I'm trying pay off some debt some I'm able to stay up here with her. She means more to me then the good things in life. That's the only reason I'm looking for the lump sum. I remember last year when I had ypn the site was pulling in 11-17k a month. Man how things can change so fast.
