Is google serious - I got 7 clicks and $0.05

I havent used adsense in a while, been using ypn, just tried adsense out again to see what there paying nowadays and this is what i got.

230 7 3.04% $0.21 $0.05

i put it on my site for a few hours.

amazing. Less than .01 per click.

 

LOL. I guess a bad day in the office.

 

strange, i dont remember adsense paying that low. oh well, back to ypn.

 

Most probably fake clicks i.e. some one clicked and then decided to hit the back button and click again.

 

what is the topic of your site? and what were you making with YPN?

That's the damn reality.
Search in the forums, all webmasters complaining about clicks paying low.

Google should really make something.

 

You might be right but how come I never had any "fake clicks" the whole first 2 years of using adsense?

 

I think some of those clicks were considered invalid...that's why it looks like that each click payed less than 0.01$

 

happens to me a lot. Usually with the Link Units ads which seem to pay lower

 

Maybe because that nut who clicked the ads 5-6 times never visited your site before.

 

site is entertainment, vids, games.

doubt fake clicks . that would be a big coincidence since i just put adsense on and my first clicks were fake.

 

You are only looking at a part-day / few hours. There could be a delay in updating the data. Wait until tomorrow then tell us the final numbers for today.

 

Yes adsense stats is not real time in here. Check it after a day to get the most accurate report.

 

Either that, or they smart priced your account..
Whichever way, it really sucks for you.
Why did you use Google to begin with, if you have YPN..?

25 clicks - 0.03p.

 

I remember reading an article saying it is.

 

I think I give up on adsense. Today and yesterday were the worst of all time, getting less than a cent a click. That's ridiculous, I have to find something else. I have never seen anything so low before in my life than what I got today and yesterday. It takes about 3 clicks just to make a penny. Beyond ridiculous. Adsense isn't worth it.

 

these types of threads are kind of getting old....
