please tell me PM-spammers get banned around here.

    Just forward the PM to one of the mods and they'll put it on their 'to do' list. Seems to be a lot of PM spam floating about here recently.

    Forward them to an online mod. If there isn't anyone online, you don't need to worry if you don't get a reply from them but the reported user might be gone from DP

    What is considered pm spam? I posted in a thread for directory submissions then got three other offers via pm. Is that spam?

    I have sent PMs to people selling a site regarding buying a copy of the content. Is that spam?

    just curious

    Don't worry, they are not spam. It is considered to be spamming when you send people pms without their consent. For example sending them a message to visit your brand new website, or sending them msgs asking them to join as your affiliate...
