redirect page after File Save As dialog

    Hi,

I have a form where the user can request a data extract and save the
data to a file. I'm using cfcontent to create the file on submission of
the form but I need to redirect the page somewhere else after the user
has saved the file as it remains on the the original form page.

Is there anyway to do this? Is there anyway to send a dummy page to the
browser, e.g a "Extract completed" page and then the data itself after?
I can't use cflocation as it kills the browser save as dialog. Or is
there an event which can be caught when the user closes the Save As
    dialog box?

Also, are there any easy to navigate, active and open Coldfusion forums on the web. There don't seem to be any taht fit these criteria.

Adobe.com has a very useful CF forum community. Sitepoint does as well.

You need an adobe customer id to use the adobe forums I think. I'm sure the company I'm at has one but I haven't got around to finding out. To me adobe is a bit of a closed forum for this reason. Also not great for contractors like me.

I can't find any forum at SitePoint, are you able to post the link here?

Anyway I figured out how to do it, so no worries ^^.
