To be honest with you, I would go to UPS or fedex, mail a box full of peanuts to him. Tell PayPal you have proof of tracking and delivery that he recieved the product and he never returned it. If he tries to return it, just dont accept it...good luck

I have (had?) a web site on cjb.cc that I was using for as a means of distributing the results of my research (for my M.A.), but I have not been able to access anything from cjb.cc for several weeks. I never received any kind of notification. I paid for extra space for an unfinished period of time. I have sent the admin (Redser: redser@cjb.cc, and LEEE SJL: sjleee@hotmail.com) several e-mails, but I have never heard back from them.

I was wondering if anyone might know what was happening?

    Everything was good before this...

    The address was: www.cseabrook.cjb.cc.

    Thank you for your time.

CJB.CC used to be run by a guy called Austin, and then it was run by someone called Sang Lee (sjleee@hotmail.com). It turns out that they may be the same person.

For those that want to know, there seems to be a history of problems with Mr. Lee...

He never answerers, or calls back. I have tried, but I am going to give up. I'm not sure that it is even a real number. There seems to be a lot of contradiction in the information we have about him, so it hard to say if any of it is "real".

One has to be cautious while making a deal.

Sure there will be scammers who will try to exploit the loopholes in the system.
Never try to make a quick buck. Thats the oldest trick in the world of conning!

This is Byzantine. I was talking to "godaddy" about the possibility of recovering some of the research data, and I found out that the domain was "registered" with them, but was held remotely, on servers called "ns1.cjb.cc", and "ns2.cjb.cc", that "godaddy" knew nothing about. I tried to see what would happen if I pinged the servers, but I did not get a response.

I am the previous -- previous owner of cjb.cc. I sold it to a guy who immediately sold it to Austin. I was hired to do admin work, clean up, approvals of new accounts, etc.

Since no one else seems to know anything, I thought I should explain a bit of what I know. First, Austin is Sang Lee. He was mainly known as Austin. No secret identity here, Austin is just more American sounding.

The domain name cjb.cc is registered with Godaddy but the server was rented from another company (HostDime). When Austin couldn't afford the server any more, it was shut off and the server was recycled into their production line.

It's gone, all the data is gone and it's not recoverable. Because I was well known as the previous owner, many of the old members became hosting customer's of mine and stay in touch. Apparently, they've all tried to contact Austin with no luck. He's simply gone. He didn't tell anyone about the shut down...he just let it go.

He took over a large hosting project and couldn't handle it. When the money got tight, he tried Yahoo ads and that went bad too (as you can see on this thread).

Austin is NOT a scam artist. Austin's fault is in panicking, not communicating and running away instead of finding a new solution. I'm sorry the guy lost his money in whatever odd transaction occurred. I had no idea how Austin got a new account. This thread explained how. I did warn him that much of the traffic on cjb.cc was overseas and Yahoo didn't allow that. That's probably why he got banned -- Twice.

Anyway, hope my two cents sheds some light here. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have. I tried to squeeze as much as I know into this one post. Hope this sheds some light on the subject.

I wish Mr. Lee would have communicated the problems he was having to the cjb.cc community; perhaps a solution may have been found. Too late now.
