    Hi,

My sister inlaw just found a day job and here's what the job is like.

(It's a 1:00-10 job) Every other hour she takes a hour break! How crazy is that? So for nine hours, she takes a total of four 1 hour breaks. Man, I have never seen a job that takes so many-long-breaks. Man, I don't care, if I can work there, I will. I'll bring my laptop with me and for four hours I can still mess with the internet.

She went through a staffing agency where they find you a job and take most of your money you make:mad:.

If She gets hired on, they'll pay here 15.50/hr. That is nice. Well, just wanted to ask you guys if you've ever heard of a job that runs like that and what you think about it?

I havent heard about this kind of job either. The job could require some kind of physical activity, which is why they give 1 hour breaks in between. So I don't think any body will have time or energy to browse with the internet on their laptop. But I could be wrong. Do let us know what the job is about once she joins them. :)

Many college professors work that way..they don't teach all eight hours at a stretch.

Some jobs in schools/colleges like "laboratory assistance" have hardly 1-2 hour of actual work... especially in institutes that have only a few courses.

Nah, how could you! Just playing... This is a Gerber company. Yep, baby food. I asked her what her position is and she told me that she doesn't know exactly what it is called. But she waits until a big box full of broccoli gets dumped into the machine, then she moves the box away from the machine, then folds the box and put it on the pallet. Most of the time she stands when there is no boxes. That's what you call 'Work four hours and get paid full time' haahah.

Man, I should of made this into a guessing contest and win products. Whatever!

lol, if she is, i'll be making my own baby food."Work At Home And Earn 2,000 dollars/Wk making baby food". Oh yeah.

But this hour break thing isn't just for her department, it's the whole company that does that.

But I think Goolge is the best company to work for. Have yall seen google on youtube? Man, they got it all. The whole NINE Yards.

Well it certainly doesn't sound like a cushy job but I wouldn't mind seeing as how cushy jobs tend to aid in me gaining weight because I only ever sit down for 9 hours a day!!

Was that only once, meaning not consistant?

Yeah they do, but we're talking about reality jobs... 9-5's. But I unerstand where you're coming from. Online is the best opportunity.

they told me to do it a couple times, after a few times you do not want to be associated with ppl who are not ethical. it is not good for the accounting profession, so i left the company.
