How to make a wordpress themes engine

Hi

I thought some people might be knowing this, i wish to make a themes preview engine like http://themes.wordpress.net to showcase my themes. Is it possible from wordpress or there is some special coding needed for this.

Hmmm your mention of a theme engine actually got me glued to this post. A theme engine is something around which a theme for a particular script is based. They basically do the job of interacting with the script to define how certain files (php, tpl, html) will respond. It has nothing to do with what you just said!

What you're looking for will require a custom solution, to take screenshots and display them as thumbnails and to create a demo installation of wordpress with the theme laiden over it. Ofcourse Wordpress will be a part of this whole setup, since that's where the demo will reside, but still it will not be a derivation of wordpress.

Yes. Have developed many apps in the past! This one could be easy in enough! We may have some server side requirement though, for the thumbnails!
