The thing is that its America that is starting this conflict. Iran dont got missiles with that range, and if they did they would rather spend it on important things like bombing oil rigs.

Why the hell would Iran want to bomb Estonia? Why would Iran want to send missiles to Ukraine that sells weapons to Iran?

Dont you see, Its about alienating Russia, and Russia wont have that.

The beard needs some work. A proper terrorist should be able to hide a stripped-down AK47 plus two magazines in his beard.

(senior commanders are required to hide a RPG-9 as well, though they have special dispensation to detach their beards and carry them in a seperate bag or - in extreme cases - a lorry).

Yes the missile defense system is in wrong place, Iran wount shoot in Poland
or Estonia. GTech, what would USA think if Russia would install same tech
at Venezuela, Cuba or some where near? Do you remember what happend in
the 1960th? The problem is that everyone with a brain can see, it's directed
against Russian nuclear weapons. Putin is right in his decission, Bush is wrong.
If this administration continues on this dangerous road, you Americans will
find your self in nuclear war, and GTech you don't want to see an Akula2
sub near you when you go fishing next time. This will not only affect us in
europe, but America too. Don't think for a second that Russia is not up for
fight and if war breaks, you will be sent to Russia.

Oh, i need to find better clothing.

WWIII started on 9/11 As far as I am concerned... The rest of the world just needs to realize it.

As for Putin, you need to realize that the is "old school" Soviet... ie, KGB. He just wants to see things as they were. I would hardly consider Russia a threat to anyone anywhere militarily.

Riiiiiiiiight, so now we're starting war with Russia as some terrorists ate in a Moscow cafe once?

Are we also going to point some missiles at Florida flight school as they trained some terrorists?

As far as I'm concerned Bush needs to realise that an attack 6 years ago doesn't give him the right to throw his weight around whenever he feels like it.

Somewhat ironic since before 9/11 the US were quite happy to support terrorists ;) I guess it's a case of do as I say not do as I do.

    Post count padder strikes again!

Someone either did not read the thread, does not watch the news, or a little of both....No one is talking about pointing missiles at anyone. It's a missile defense system. One the Russians could participate in as well, at our expense of course.

Man, sometimes I wonder if some here are not ingesting estrogen pills on a regular basis.

President Putin has warned the US that its deployment of a new anti-missile network across Eastern Europe would prompt Russia to point its own missiles at European targets and could trigger nuclear war.

No need to apologise, I understand retardation can be genetic

Let me re-phrase that.. "No one in the US."

Putin is old school KGB and a lunatic. Does Russia even have any missiles left? Seems to me, Russia pointing rusty cold war weapons at Europe is about as threating as pointing a pea shooter at an elephant.

Yep, him and Bush have much in common. I wouldn't make the mistake of discounting Russia though, they're much more of a threat than Iraq ever were.

Even discounting the weaponary angle they have the ability to cut off most of Europe's gas and oil supply. If Putin plays his cards right he can cause far more disruption to the world through Economic sanctions and keep the international community onside.

Who are "we?" Are you Russian? When I read the article, it sure looked like it was Putin and Russia making threats.

    You're an idiot...

Phew! Good thing that's not what he's doing! You had me scared for a moment.

...that were not terrorists at the time. And you can't blame GW for that, who was NOT in office... *cough*

I'm sorry your parents dropped you when you were a child 4 days ago... all 52 times.

Quit using drugs, that might help you clear your mind a little bit and come to your senses (if you have any).

I remember when Clinton snubbed the Brits by entertaining IRA terrorists in the White House..

    Ah, those were the days.

Exactly, like I said, it's a case of do as I say not do as I do. Terrorism is fine as long as it's not in your own backyard.

That's right. Some only complain about terrorism when they no longer benefit from it. Bloody dirty.
