I've never tried Kontera before, but I have just looked at their website, and it looks like it might be worth trying, I think I am going to try it now and I will report back with my experiences...

$2.14 for 24 clicks per day (3072 impressions). Every little amount adds up. So give it a try.

I've been using it for a week and they say it takes 2 weeks to optimize to your site. They seem rather responsive and I'll let you know in two weeks. :)

I'd use it with adsense and not instead of it. It's ok, but hardly brings in the big bucks. If you get heaps and heaps of traffic it might payoff.

I'm thinking of trying it but am trying to find out if you still need 500,000 visitors or if you can have less. I have much more than that one some of my sites, but the section I want to use it on only is new.

They are currently accepting small time publishers. Go ahead and try.

With Adsense I earn about $2.5 to $3 a day. With kontera I get about $0.3 to $0.7 a day. It is not an Adsense alternative, but a supplementary income.
You don't need that much pageview, infact you need just about 50 K pageviews a month. For more information, contact a user name Kontera Support. He is an employee of Kontera.

I don't even get 50,000 pageviews at the moment. The area I was going to put them only started just under 3 weeks ago and I have not had much time to advertise it yet.

I applied for kontera a couple of months ago, and believe it or not......

I STILL haven't logged in to check out my earnings yet!

I'll do that, and report back!

I make a couple of grand of Kontera per month. I put it on all the old pages on my site and all the pages where search engine visitors come through. Ecpm for my site hovers between $5-6 AND there are still google ads on the pages with Kontera. So I have to say I'm VERY happy with them.

Send them an e-mail w/ the address to which you wish to receive the cheque. It's v. silly that there's no place we can enter it on their site.

I've given them my wire transfer details and they send me the money at the same time every month. I haven't had issues with them paying out. Perhaps it's different with cheques.

But seriously, if you have the right niche with Kontera you don't even need to run adsense against your site. They generate great results.
