With Google Maps its useful information. With Google satellite, its "hey, there is my house". But with the Google street views, it has become apparent that Google won't stop until they have a panoramic view of the entire Earth not unlike what was occurring fictitiously in the Denzel Washington thriller "Deja Vu". It may seem harmless now, but is it an insidious plot? Please vote. Thanks
I would, but you forgot to include a poll! My vote is yes - it's all very Orwellian - not good at all.
Actually, if you have ever started a poll before, you would know that there is a lag between. It's up now.
It is a matter of who got there first. If they did not do it someone would. We offer ourselves up to Google on a platter. You see hundreds of threads just on here of how we can appease the great Google. They are just the giant who we love to hate and of course they will stop at nothing to advance their wealth. Would you ?
I don't know if I would say that what they are doing is about control right now, but I think that it could inadvertently lead to something bad. I'd hate to think that when I was a teenager, I could have been seen smoking that joint behind the 7-11 on the internet from a satellite from Google. It is kind of scary.
