I would like to know of you which you think is the best, quantity or quality when trying to get as much money with adsense as you can.
Personally I try to mix quantity and quality, but what I most hear is from people wanting to make lots and lots of websites thinking that it must earn you the most. Is that really true and what are your results?
    Thanks for our opinion.

Its easier to run cheaper to host and register one domain earning $1,000.00 per month than to do the same with 1,000 sites earning $1.00 per month

Next question is which would you rather own,

    A Rolls Royce

    or a

    Yugo???

    Quality wins every time!! :)

    Quality is my choice..

If you have a quality website, you can earn lots of money without doing much work because it will get natural traffic on the other hand, you will find it difficult to market lesser quality websites.

Of course, while quality is important, you also need quantity of content.

Thanks for the reaction, but quantity in content...does it mean spread over many sites or only centralized at one big site?

For me, I would have to say quality. I rather run very few quality sites because they'll have more value if you plan on selling them. It also cuts down on hosting and domain costs...

Not everyone is a great SEO specialist. Some sites like About.com get millions of users simply because they have 10's of millions of pages of content.

Thats absultely true as well. However, if people can provide both quality and quantitiy like About.com then surely that better than just a few pages of quality, don't you think? Of course, since its not really possible to produce tons of good quantity, it is probably better people focus on quality.

I agree with you there, they have lots of pages and end up at the search engines with lots of topics. While I don't think their pages are very good, they indeed score a lot of visitors by just having lots and lots of pages. So although most of the people atm voted for quality, quantity can also be the key for succes.

Excellent point. I voted quality, but I took the poll as referring to site (few good sites or lots of crappy ones). I would have go as you say, though, LOTS of QUALITY content.

    I voted Quality and Quantity.

Why? Because I have a lot of articles that I can place on the web but don't have the time to hire a professional designer/etc. I can get these sites out and let them be.

Quality is always necessary to make money from Adsense. Without a quality site (a LEGIT one with organic/direct traffic) it's hard to get anywhere with Adsense.... but a mixture of both is good for me. When I have the time, I redesign my older sites.
