Im a bit new to posting an auction here at DP forums and would like your opinion on this. I just want to knw the steps to take when a winning bidder backs out from my auction? Should i report him to admin or what?
Give him an negative iTrader for wasting your & everyones time. Careful on that though, he could be a moron and give you one back.
This happens to me a couple of months ago when I'm selling my site. I did nothing to him- no negative iTrader, no comments, nothing at all.
Just post in the thread that he backed off, there might be some genuine reasons too. Also, PM all those who showed interest to tell that your site is up for grabs again!
What do you do in this situation: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=3338096#post3338096 I was very annoyed as you can probably tell.
1: Dont hijack another thread - you can get infractions for that. 2: Dont close a deal unless you can pay ASAP, even if the seller say's he'll hold it until payment.
I wasn't hijacking a thread. Its in the same context except what happens if the situation is reversed! If you actually noticed I checked with him to make sure the arrangement was fine. He agreed. I would have understood if he declined, but he didn't. P.S who died and made you a moderator anyway.
bad rep! atl east others would be careful if they saw his profile. and also post on your thread about what happened to your auction. some might still be interested with your bid.
just list the auction again and give the reason for listing the auction again until you get a genuine bidder
Jes' nice response for trying to help out. Good luck doing business on here, you need it by the looks of things.
You didn't help out at all. You just made the thread go off topic even more. I don't need your luck, I've done more business than you on here.
I advised about hijacking so you DONT get an infraction from the mods but also on how to go about busy here without getting dumped on. haha good for you and you even still managed to get stung on a deal.
