Google SERP update?

It seems to be a big update at the Google SERP today. Has anyone noticed it?

I understand SERPs are updated on a regular basis, but it seems to be a big one. Jumping up to 2 to 3 pages. I checked on several keywords on my websites, all of them got different ranks. It doesn't happen like that usually.

 

well...i had also notice the same 3-4 days before for my sites but currently it back with old SERP. Can you pls tell me IP address of SERP update if you have.

 

Something like that happening to me too, but its not 'often' it is 'continous'

I haven't really noticed anything "big."

 

Today one very confusing thing happened for one of my sites.

It had more then 10,000 links and it just dropped The more confusing thing is that As I am writing this, Link building campaign is still going on for it.

 

I haven't either maybe you add more quality links that's why?

Last week a Google Dance happened...

That's why some SERPs have big leap...

 

How do you check for backlinks ?

 

you can check backlinks by link:www.sitename.com in google / yahoo.

 

I notice some update but it not affect my ranks.

why my website PR is still zero?

 

My serps have changed a bit for the better...i've gotten a few new visitors for a new search term i've been targeting

 

Because yout site may be too young, your content is not good or you don't have big amount od BL

 

Had some more pages indexed, but that is the only change so far for me.

 

Only a small rise in the number of pages indexed by google, apart from it, nothing much.

 

I also noticed a small rise of serps but nothing new, i mean this happens everyday, its not timed or anything.
New sites, blinks and fresh content apear everyday, daily serps update is normal.

 

And i am lost for the most basic keywords of my websites and i see a positive result on one blog too!!!

 

how do u know your PR has increased....

bcoz PR updates was over....last month.....

 

Really you cannot know if your PR increase or vice versa till next PR update when it is shown.
