Well, then, you have absolutely no excuse.

You have no right to distribute software that is centered around something that is copyrighted and distributed under the GNU General Public License in the manner that you are doing it, and you should probably refund everyone who purchased it so far.

You give absolutely NO credit to the original author (who happens to be Kellan), and cannot redistribute a GPL product without passing on the same license that was granted with the original software.

Your entire product is based around MagpieRSS, and will not work without it. Basically all you did was add routines to store the RSS feeds in a database.

Actually the GPL lets you charge for the act of transferring the files from his server to others, you just can't stop others giving it away. So providing he didn't break the license by removing the copyrights and kept the license the same, he would have been Ok.

Right, but he's not charging for the distribution, he's charging for the product, and restricting the rights of others to redistribute, both of which are clearly violations:

So not only did he not keep the license intact, he went against the whole spirit of the GPL in the first place.

He is distributing for free (free download, free trial period, etc), and then saying you must delete it if you do not pay him after 10 days of using it.
