Help with linux VPS - unable to start PSA

Hi,

I really need some help with my vps, yesterday i used the plesk updater and tried to update my plesk version to version 8 ... but it looks like this has failed !!

now i am unable to start the PSA

i recieve this error.

Operation start with the VPS(s) VEID289976 service "psa" is started.

Error: HTTPD_INCLUDE_D not defined

Error: HTTPD_INCLUDE_D not defined

/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpsdctl start: httpd could not be started

Starting Plesk: [FAILED]

Operation start with the VPS(s) VEID289976 service "psa" is finished with errors: #703 Can not start/stop/restart service: service "psa" status is not "running" after command "start".

Cant view domains , clients or send / recieve email

I also need someone to help me install a few backup modules and upgrade mysql.

PLESk sucks

if your VPS is managed, you could ask your host to fix that problem. Even if it isn't, most hosts provide support regarding control panel issues.

 

Im with webfusion there support is very limited ... they take a week before they even take a look.

 

you should have gone with platinumservermanagement....
