Any script that is similar to Geocities or Tripod?

Hi there,

Im having an awful time trying to find a script that is dedicated to offering free hosting and creating a user homepage such as geocities and tripod. I know there was one called HomeFree but I cannot seem to find that anywhere, and the business looks like it is now offline.

If anyone has any suggestions for a script with some same similarities, please let me know,

Bump 2, interested in knowing if there's a free script or low cost script available.

I know about iPanel (http://www.ihostdev.com/ipanel.html) but that's a paid script, also requires root access - I'm interested in finding out about any script that can run on either a shared hosting account or a normal reseller account (WHM / CPanel preferred, DirectAdmin ok).

Of course there is.
What you need is a free web hosting script and then to mod and customize it.
The best in the market and the most customizable one is LayeredPanel without a doubt but you will need a VPS or dedicated machine to run it.
