I am Pro-choice, as long as the abortion is done early in the pregnancy. Why? 1) I would rather a child not be born than be born into a world where they will receive no love, health care, attention, etc 2) My father was adopted. Adoption facilities are full and children who are not young toddlers or infants are less likely to be adopted. 3) A woman should not be saddled with a child from her rape 4) I would rather my own child be aborted than grow up with painful, debilitating health defects

I was thinking about that issue before, as i have ALMOST been in that situation so it got me thinking. Abortion is a terrible thing, i have seen pictures of abortion done few months before the pregnancy - they were horrible. Little legs and arms of the baby came out of the uterus (really graphic). I think i am only pro-abortion in the first TWO months. further than that is practically like killing a person without giving him the right to even defend himself - and who are we to take a person's life ? I wouldn't be ok with an abortion done before the unborn can develop, but if needed be, i would probably accept that.
Also, have you never heard of "possession"? It is illegal... Which means even if you own the drugs you can be arrested... Time to start watching cops!

Although i would argue that the life begins when the heart starts to beat (around 40 days, or 5 weeks) and after that abortions should not be done under ANY circumstances. We could go over this again and again, but I think as you post these questions you probably already know what my answers will be. Generally speaking, I have more concern for the people that are already born than those destined to be born. But more specifically to this question, I believe the child is part of the womans body until it is born. If you mean, "Can't we just force a woman to have a baby against her will because we disagree with her morals?" No. By the word unintentionally, I mean did not mean too. It could be a teenage girl who is dating some guy who tells her it is impossible to get pregnant if he pulls out in time. It could be someone that is on birth control, or 1000 other scenarios. Because a woman gets pregnant and chooses to have an abortion, it does not automatically mean that she is an irresponsible person. I think you said the only purpose in your opinion of sex is reproduction, but the rest of the world have sex for a variety of reasons not always including reproduction. I realize that you feel that you do in your own mind. I should have never made the comment insinuating you do not respect women, and I was sorry for that post later. I just believe that women should have the option to terminate a pregnancy and you don't, and we will never agree on this. So, if you do not believe in abortion you should not get one and others have the right to choose for themselves. I guess, but my focus towards that person would not be to tell them they are irresponsible and deserved to get aids.
