The only software i use is my browser and the internet.

If people spent half the time they spend on checking keyword density, Backlinks, PR in different datacenters on creating something worthwhile they wouldn't even have to worry about SEO.

I've "got" the latest SEO tools, however i'm old fashioned and check things manually most the time like i have done for years.

    Ahh what are you implying?

I purchased everything i have, however for alot of things it's far quicker to check them manually with a combination of bookmarked tools, my browser remembering queries in Google by hitting 1 letter/character, the toolbar, Right Click >> View Source in Notepad ++ etc etc

Yeah i do use them when doing an initial comprehensive analysis etc, but i started experimenting with "why & how sites rank in search" long before any of these tools were thought of, so spending the 2 seconds manually plugging in a query is habit instead of booting up a piece of software.

I'm sure everyone's bought something they don't fully utilize, doesn't mean you have to question the legitimacy of how it was obtained.

    stop that"
this is a general description of do and don't everyone has their niche your still doing what you know works that don't mean other strategies are bland.
their is more room for trial and erea then their is for organic search.
