I'm out of town for the weekend, but when I get home I'm gonna install that one on one of my blogs to test, thanks for the links.. i got so many more nice plugins to check out and play with now, this thread is awesome look for the one that makes the meta desc the first 20-30 words of each post, forget the name and would give you the link if I could find it, also look into the google sitemaps one as well
If we are talking about favorites then i think i really like Crawlpage and User Online Plugins. Always like to see number of users wasting time on my blogs
Some of those like spam karma listed here - http://www.seofirm.info/category/blogs/word-press/wordpress-plugins/ Thanks
Adsense Deluxe + Adsense Beautifier. Great integration plugins to get more revenue from Google Adsense
I've never tried any of the adsense plugins, do they really boost your revenue? can you target better ads? tracking? Cuz if your site is completely on one topic, you'd want the standard relevant ads showing anyways ( to get the clicks ) right so, how much will these actually help you boost your income?
For regular Wordpress - my favorite plugin would have to be the google sitemap generator. But as i use WPMU also, my favorite plugin of all-time is something called User-Themes. Use it raw and you're asking for trouble, as it gives users of the blogs access to any theme, and the ability to add their own php code! With a bit of tweaking though, it becomes a nice user CSS editor.
Well guys i need a gallery plugin for wordpress. Gallery plugin should show new uploaded wallpapers in thumbnails on main page and also show random image thumbnails... Is there any plugin for this purpose ?
http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/enforce-www-preference/ If your site can be accessed through http://www.domain.com and http://domain.com you might have some problems over the long run. Most search engines treat those addresses as two different domains, spliting your backlink count. In order to solve this issue you need to setup a 301 Permanent Redirect. The are several ways to setup this redirect, but if you are not familiar with PHP or if your host is not Linux based (for the .htaccess file) this plugin represents the simplest one. You just need to activate it and all the visitors and search bots will get redirected to the address that is specified on the Wordpress control panel http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/ * Generating META tags and letting you define them * Automatically optimizing your titles and letting you specify your own ones * Avoiding indexing of duplicate content. hope that helps
