Where's the best place to register cheap yet reliable domain?

I only know godaddy & register.com and I have a domain to register. Right now, I'm in tight budget so anyone knows any recommended place to register your domain (cheap and reliable and easily transferrable across different servers)?

I know I'm a noob

 

I'd recommend domainsite.com as the best regular (price/value/support) priced registrar ($6,99 1st year then $7.99) and netfirms.com as having the best current promotional price ($4.95)

 

My vote goes to domainsite.com too
You can register it to domainsite.com for $6.99 and the next year transfer it to name.com for $5.99

domainsite.com and name.com are owned from the same company

namecheap is not the cheapest but yes it's reliable
a good combination for cheap and reliable is domainsite as i said before

 

Cheapest and reliable then it should be DomainSite.com I've my main domains registered at Domainsite.com and I got no problems whatsoever

ya domainsite is reliable and cheap

u cannot get anything cheaper than 6.99$ these days without sacrificing on reliability

 

i use dynadot.com

domain.com just released new prices $6.xx the lowest on the market

 

But in namecheap the cost is 8.88, there are a couple of companies registering domains for 6.50...

plus free push and Globat as backend!!

 

sounds good but do they accept unverified paypal acct?

 

i personally believe that u should always register with trusted registrars only. there are a lot of scammers and in order to save 1$ u will end up using 6$
