OK, I'm not an SEO master, but I know a bit about backlinks. This old site of mine, rwc-forum.net, has got PR 3. So pagerank should be calculated mostly from backlinks, shouldn't it?
Well, when i check it with google http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3Awww.rwc-forum.net&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=flock&rls=FlockInc.:en-US:eek:fficial

It shows 0 results....but i KNOW I've got backlinks somewhere... could someone please point out where the catch is?

    Thanks ;)

The link oppeartor is notoriously useless when it comes to backlinks.
Even if they did show any backlinks it would be a random selection and a random number.

Google analytics gives better statistics for backlinks. Sign up for that, Its free.

Yes, google doesn't reveal all backlinks for some reason, which they know and we can guess :)
