Well i am specifically talking abt sedo.

Lets suppose i make a domain sale at sedo for $10k and i transfer it to my paypal account. Is it safe to do that for indians? anybody got their accounts limited because of that?

i am not very sure, but somewhere, someone told me that paypal freezes the account, they say they freezed that for security reasons, asks you a original datas, and everything goes on like that.

i would like to make you remember once again.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE IN THIS WORLD, EVEN NOT YOUR SOUL. ONE DAY YOUR SOUL ALSO LEAVES YOU.

If you're using Personal, consider the funds gone.

If you're using Premier, thats fine if you do it in small amounts like 500 each or 1k each

If you use business account, thats absolutely fine and you wont have any problems at all!

generally If you get 3-4 big amounts of payments from the same person at a time your account goes limited.

well i am on a verified premier account.

but the fact that sedo is a big parking & domain sale company, and they might be having some deal with paypal, right? also the funds are coming from a safe place right?

Do you think sedo as suspicious?

    or a hacked PayPal?

Premier accounts may need to justify the transactions but you'll easily get them withdrawn

If you have business account, check comes under the business name. So, you must have a Bank account under business name.

And a account under business name can cost roughly around $2k as it needs a lots of cards and etc...registrations things

Is Paypal your only solution here? There could be other less costy options to transfer money to India.

For large amounts, Sedo recommends transfer to your bank account. It will be cheaper also. Otherwise spend the money on more domains.

It may sound lame but why not receive the money in installments? Or spread in 2-3 acounts?

    it's sedo.

    it will be fine.

as long as your paypal acc is under your real info, you've got nothing 2 worry about.

On PayPal, you pay about $400 as fees

While on Ban Transfer, probably no more than $50-$150 even if the bank charges too high!

Not to be blunt, but, dont be Crazy! Paypal has limited good honest people's accounts for far less, I wouldnt trust them for more than a very small amount. Not to mention you better trust your buyer unless you want a 10,000$ chargeback on your hands, which you would lose due to intangible goods, tread carefully.
