I'll look at making some of the changes you've mentioned.

I have implemented Google Adsence, when someone clicks on the post to write a comment, and occassionally within blog posts.

 

But why you haven't put adsense unit on the home page?

 

I hate adsense because it makes the blog look untidy, this is why I have at the moment just added it to individual blog posts.

I've now added Social bookmark in the sidebar, rather than against each post.

 

Yeah I have checked that. But that will not allow the reader to bookmark individual post. You have a good blog. and trust me that individual post bookmarks will get you many backlinks.

 

Good point about the backlinks - I'll add social to the posts ASAP.

I've had a reader mention that the sidebar is not visable in Firefox, is anyone else having this problem?

The sidebar appears to jump down the bottom of the page, but I am not sure what is causing this.

Problem sorted with FF.

The banners on the sidebar don't seem to be aligning properly so I need to look into that next. I love FF but its a pain in the rear end to code for.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I'm not adding ads at the moment, like adsense and instead building traffic.
