I bought some proxy hosting from this guy known as Luke Beale, It was great for 10 days. Then suddenly I started facing weird problems, my sites stopped loading, after a few days, I can't access my cPanel (login doesn't work) and NOW, you will NOT believe what this punk has done, he has put up a SILLY STUPID DIRECTORY on ALL of my domains hosted with him. You can see it here - http://www.bgi-international.com, some stupid directory which I don't even know of! I even asked for an UPGRADE in my plan and sent him $6 for the same via PayPal, but he never even bothered to upgrade my account as it seems. I have never seen this kind of a poor service, where THE HOST controls the site and not the customer. I am asking for a full backup & a refund for all this mess, lets see if he is courteous enough to even provide that, the least which he can do. I don't have anymore faith in this guy. SSH
If you were hosting on a shared environment I wouldn't expect anything different to be honest. He is only 16 go figure. If you want a good proxy host go with these http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=327108

I already have 8 of my proxies with Hagio Host since about 1.5 months now, must say their hosting is fantastic, unlike that of this monk.
Hey SSH, That Dir belongs to me.... I am also hosted with Luke beale and was unhappy too for the downtime What's happening! My Dir in your domain can't believe this!!! Hey Luke delete this man immdly not good at all....
I recommend that proxy sites aren't hosted on shared hosting because they use up a lot of the server resources.
I agree with brennan. I should say there are few honest people here like Brennan, Outstrip and Ishan whom you can trust and always there are people who are quite opposite to these people too... We should have a seperate thread for scammers and should try to avoid them
Thanks weblogic, I have to say I would hate for people who offer this really cheap hosting to ruin the reputation of people who offer quality hosting for cheap, because I put a lot of effort into this by checking to see if clients are happy, helping them with there websites, making my hosting clients my #1 proiority and nobody's sites have crashed or anything like that because I don't host proxy sites and we have great servers.
This guy has replied to my PM and refuses to refund my money. He says that "I will not be threatened by anybody." LOL, Did I even threaten him? And he says that everything has been *FIXED* although I still see the directory loading on all my domains, he's a big loser IMO. I'm gonna be transferring all my domains currently hosted with him to my another hosting, and hope you all do the same too, because this guy is surely NOT trustworthy and reliable.
I agree, if the server has been overloaded which Luke admits too and there was a lot of downtime and someone requests a refund then one should be expected.
I m facing quite the same problem with messahost. After hosting me one day they said, they will no more host me. Wtf, if thus then why should you tell here "The Best Proxy Hosting Ever". lol! I dont know his full name, but whenever i open some ticket he answers. But it is really unfortunate for me , i need to find another host now. I thought he is really the best host, but it looks like they are crappy guys, scammers
SSH, did he pay you via Paypal? You could put a complaint or something like that against him saying you did not receive the service promised and you want a full refund issued and if he doesn't pay back within a number of days paypal will take action, something like that, i did it to someone before and received a refund.
Well, yes I am gonna have to do that, too many scammers here at DP nowadays. I heard somewhere that PayPal doesn't intervene in cases involving non-tangible goods. Anyone has more info on this?
