It is not so good to have many many links from one domain. Try to get 1000links from 1000 different domains instead of 1000links from one domain. You will see much better results in search engine position for your targeted keywords.
Of course it's better to have 1000 links from 1000 domains but it's much harder to get them And I think that there is nothing wrong if you have many links from on domain. Why should it be? Maybe it doesn't help SERPS a lot but I'm sure it isn't bad.
