I am looking into creating an adwords account but I have herd a lot of mixed emotions about it. I have herd its a waste of your money and I have herd Its the best thing you could do for your site. My question to you is how many hits do you get to your site from adwords per day. If your a merchant do these hits translate into sales or do you just see your website hit counter go up but your pockets aren't increasing in revenue. Please fill me in!

There's no average hits. It's all about CTR (click thru rate), how much you're bidding, and how well you're converting those clicks into $$. So if I can get 10 targeted visitors to buy something that costs $20 from my store, it's better than 100 untargeted "hits" who look and leave (all costs being equal).

The price per day depends on what you bid for keywords and how many keywords you use and how many hits your site gets.

Hits are just that. Your site has to make people want to buy the product or service. The product must be a good deal or make people want it. Each product has different rate of return.

Some people do very well with it and other loose money. Set a total you want to spend and work on getting low paying keywords to drive traffic to your site.

I've had 3 with one site, thousands with another. No average possible.

I'd say the best way is to try & test, as I get good return on investment somedays & other days I don't.

It also depends on the product or service you are offering. So if you offer a high value product or service you won't need many hits to make adwords worthwhile, but if what you are offering is worth a few dollars then you obviously need many more hits.

It's not upto us, it's upto you, only you can gain something or remain in loss.It also depends on the product you are selling ,I advise you to sell some cheaper products, otherwise no sail, no gain.
