    Yo

I am starting a shop online with a friend and was wondering what could we sell that would cost not much to buy products to sell?

    All ideas welcome!

    eBay is your friend.
Buy pretty much anything wholesale and resell for a much higher price. When I started buying and selling games online I bought 50 Fifa 2007 games for something like £150 and sold 10 for just under £300. Pitty I had to start selling them for like £2 to friends...

there are a bunch of chinese sites where you could buy cheap stuff, like alibaba...but it's pretty risky. I spent a month a year ago looking for sources, but didn't find anything with great enough margins

ebay has some good wholesale deals as richardknox mentioned...look there

What types of products are you interested in? What niche do you want to target?

You should look into dropshipping (people buy products off your site, company ships them to you) SO... you don't have to buy cheap products and resells them.. kind of like.. commission eh?

    Sure were.
They were from a wholesaler who bought wholesale from someone who bought wholesale from EA Games. If i'd gone to EA Games i'd of got it so much cheaper.

Check out http://www.liquidation.com. It's an auction site for liquidated goods. I've never bought anything because I was always outbid, but at least you can get some good ideas!
