Uhm.... well this sort of depends on where you live. Got a restaurant in NY? Then I suppose you could have a site, backed up with some listing at whatever and where ever people in NY might look for you. Got a small engine repair shop in the middle of Virginia.... website is a waste of time and money.... time being the most important factor. Sorry... just had to chime in....
Not its not a waste of time and money. I could give you 10 reasons how having a website for a small engine repair shop in the middle of virginia can improve sales and also the bottom line. But, But, But, the point of this post is exactly... Showing people like yourself, that having a website can be beneficial. That is what we have done, but we just are trying to get ideas for a nice opening analogy. I think you are in need of our services yourself my friend.

Hi, My entire business is based on providing not only design & hosting for that small engine shop--but showing them how to make having a website is worth their while. The key is designing the site so that LOCAL customers visit time & time again. Give them a reason to return. And when they are ready to have that lawnmower engine repaired, who do you think they will visit first? You got it. =) Cheers, bri
Not Having A Website For Your Small Business Is Like - Not having a real up to date business. Any real business can setup or outsource a website, even if a presentation page, for $200 or $300. If they don't spend that, they don't have a real business mentality.
