EXACTLY RIGHT! Pro-lifers won't understand what you said though...The only ones I ever see are these judgemental moral majority types who want to make there morals into laws OR women with names like Myrtle May that I can't imagine they ever have sex anyway so it would never be an issue.
Of course we understand. The only difference is that we see it as murder, and you see it as the equivalent of taking a dump to get rid of unwanted waste in your body.
abortion could never consider right exept in the cases that the woman has fallen a victim of rape or is under age any other reason i thing is certainly wrong
Huh??? Is there something evil about living in a trailer park? And unwanted pregnancies are mostly by "Republicans"?
Yeah....we surly need more freeloading democrats though......sign me up !!! If it was a "accident" and pregnency insued anyway...even after the pill or condoms or whatever..... don't you think maybe its just SUPPOSED to happen! that baby could be the savior of this F****D up world that we live in !!
Who cares what you see or don't see? Are you going to carry the child? Are you going to give birth and assume the risks involved in child birth? Are you going to take care of a child, breast feed, change clothes and pay for the education? It all comes down to the fact that you don't believe in people's right to decide over their own life and giving yourself some kind of "moral authority" to decide over others and ignore their right to make a choice. Or the baby could be another Bush or any other of those morons in "Christian right".
Again every man & women has the choice to have a kid or not Gworld, i have never found myself in the position of having a child forced upon me against my will & neither has any women except in extreme cases. You need to re-think when the choices are available to have a baby or not.
Either you are too young and inexperienced to know what you are talking about or you have too little experience about life. People get pregnant for many reason and who are you to decide that you should punish a 16 years old girl for rest of her life by forcing her to have the child because she made the mistake of getting too excited in a back of car with the boyfriend? Do you think a teen mother with no education, no money and no job will make an ideal parent for a child? What kind of future that child has? You talk about adoption, how about if the adopted parents are not suitable and mistreat the child, whose responsibility is that? Do you take the responsibility for the child mistreatment by the hand of "forced" mother or adapted parents? May be we should let the child to grow up in foster care and become a criminal before putting him in a death row and pull the switch since it seems all of you just "object" to killing the child but are ready to cheer killing of the same child when is adult.
Life is sacred. No one has a right to decide who can live/die. Would you like another person to decide if you can or cannot live. I guess no. Plus everyone must face consequences (good or bad) of his/her actions. If a women got pregnant she and partnet must accept responsibility for their actions.
No, you talk about it like it's not murder. It has nothing to do with "people's right to decide over their own life", it has to do with people NOT having the right to decide whether a baby lives or dies based on convenience. The only moral I want to push on people in this case is not to murder. You do the same thing if you support laws against murder. Like I said... the only difference is the perception of whether or not it's murder, cause if we both agreed it was murder, you'd have a pretty hard time defending it I think.
or once again....one more freeloading, peace loving, cut and run, spinless democrat.....right up your alley !! You can pick them up and bus them to the voting booth !
Everything happens for a reason....... and obviously we are all here...living and can discuss it. Unlike the millions who are not....and have been wasted away in some biohazard dumb somewhere !! Cheers ... JR
I think the death penalty is wrong, but that's beside the point. The people who believe abortion should be illegal and still believe in the death penalty, only believe in the death penalty for someone who has committed a murder. I don't know of any babies in the womb that have committed murder, though many have been murdered. So just tell me this Gworld, do you think aborting a, lets say, 3 month old "fetus" is killing a human life?
But you are doing exactly what you claim no one has the right to do namely deciding over other people life and death. What happens if you force a girl not to have abortion and the woman dies due to child birth complications? You have condemned some one to death by deciding people should not have abortion. What happens if the woman have depression after child birth and decides to kill the child and kill herself? You have condemned some one to become a murderer before killing herself and the child. Isn't deciding to have an abortion taking responsibly for one's life when the person knows that she is not suitable as parent? Who is the best judge of this, the mother or someone like you who don't know her or her situation but believes that "God" told him it is wrong?
Yeah, alot of so called pro-life people like to paint that picture of us but it is not true. Crude example you made, but do you honestly feel that there are all these women that make the choice of having an abortion actually feel that way? There are many women who find themselves in a place where they are making a choice and it is not so black or white then. It is sort of this grey area where to have an abortion seems awful, but to not have an abortion seems even worse. It can be a scary and confusing situation for many, and I support every women who has struggled with this whether the conclusion was to terminate the pregnancy or to give birth. Do I think abortion is this happy thing? No. But I also believe if we ever made it illegal, that would just be another way to oppress women.
You talk about it like it is murder! Its a fair point, that you believe it is murder, but several other people here, don't see it that way. I believe that a late abortion is wrong, but I would still not say that it is murder. The act- to murder someone, is defined as an unlawful killing of one human by another. The fact that at this present time, the country we live in supports and allows abortion, means that it is lawful. Hence it cannot be described as murder I think that it is something to be avoided where possible, but when necessary, I do not think that it is killing a human... It is only at birth that the baby becomes truly human, at three months, it is still under half of its birth length, and considering it has only had a brain for one and a half months, its brain is probably not highly developed enough to be classed as human.
So thus, if everything happens for a reason, when the person decides to have an abortion, that too has happened for a reason? [Sorry for the second post, I just noticed this, after I posted the first one.]
