Do I need a VPS, or just a large hosting account

    I'm not sure what the difference is.

    I have some pretty specific needs, like needing unlimited addon domains and mysql databases.

    I need a pretty good amount of space, maybe like 20gb.
    I need like 200gb of bandwidth.
    I'd like 2gb burstable ram.
    I need ssh/telnet access
    I need things like curl compiled with php
    I need .htaccess over ride capability
    I prefer cpanel

    Do you think I need a VSP, or just a large flexible account?

    I've had telnet/ssh access before on shared accounts. Are you saying more shared solutions don't offer that?

    i personally like vps or dedicated better.

    u will have good speeds and uptimes 24/7 rather than sharing with other people, who might be running proxy servers or other heavy scripts.

    lots of shared hosting offering ssh now.
    just that you need to setup it. usually you can do this from cpanel, and require fax in of photo ID for verification. :)
