    A bump is a bump is a bump. If your thread has disappeared to page 5 because everyone else thinks it's as dull as dishwater you should just accept it. You can't reheat a souffle.

    yes - you can get an infraction after 24 hours when noticed by MOD or reported by some other member coz. a bump is a bump and calls for an infraction ...I got 3 infractions for the posts I made approx..40 days ago....So DO NOT BUMP your thread to avoid infraction...DP has strong rules and you can not hide your bumping post ...So be patience and never BUMP your thread...Unknowingly I bumped my thread and got 3 infraction same day after 40 days for the posts ...

    you are not supposed to bump your threads, if people are interested your thread automatically get's to the top! else forget it!:)

    bumping and then coming back in a short while to delete your bump may get you in hot water as well.

    Bumping then deleting will get you banned, unless you are lucky & ViciousSummer finds it...

    but what if like suppose you are not bumping but actually replying to some query thats there in that thread?

    would that still be considered a bump??
